Easter morning
This year we opted for a toy rather than an egg hunt. Zachary has never really gotten into candy & eggs, but then he is not a huge candy eater, so maybe that explains it. So a few Junior Mints split over eggs, a Reese's Rabbit, marsh mellow peeps, and some Texas Lotto Scratch offs. I also got him a General Grievous pez dispenser, but he isn't interested in the candy. The big fun were the Star Wars Light sabers that hook into your Wii remote. So for breakfast, we had Junior Mints and Wii time, and then started our normal routine.

Posing with the Anakin Light saber.

Artist
It's official...my son is an artist. OK, not really, but I'm so proud of him because his interest in art has been limited. He was interested in Van Gogh's sunflower painting at the time, so that was his inspiration. And the Art teacher was sweet enough to give him some pointers and let him paint it in Art class. He received an Excellent rating which was the second best you could receive.
Way to go, my little painter!

Boys and BB's
After our Spring Scout Campout, we stopped by Mike and Mom's for some real fun. The boys got out the Daisy Red Rider and shot at sardine cans and paint lids. Zachary didn't last long, but I was glad he showed some interest.
Safety gear and a qualified instructor
I love this one!
