Quick trip

Traci could not make it to my surprise birthday party, so she planned a fun weekend for us at her lake house.  We ate healthy, went walking and running a couple of times, and only pretended we weren't worried about what 40 was doing to us.  We sat out at the lake house and visited over lunch and then laid around reading some and later realized I burned my front side unintentionally (what's that going to do to 40 year old skin!?!)  We had dinner with my mom and aunts at Horseshoe Bay with dessert prepared by sweet friend. Traci was a wonderful host!

Sunday morning we headed back to the real world of a 40 year old, part-time working moms.  Not a bad place to be, if you ask me.
